THE WOMAN BEHIND THE MOTHER: IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO RISE

(“Behind every mother is a woman who still deserves to live, dream, and rise.”)

Your Purpose Is Unbroken

Hey, beautiful mother, breathe for a moment.
Feel your chest rise, let your shoulders release, and allow your heart to slow down.

Motherhood is holy work, and even on the days you feel unseen, you continue to pour and love without end. For that, I want to say thank you. Thank you for the sacrifice no one sees. Thank you for holding your world together even when you feel like falling apart.

Today, I want to speak directly to the woman behind the mother: the woman who still has dreams, who still carries purpose, and whom God has not forgotten. Motherhood did not erase your calling; it deepened it.

For encouragement on reconnecting with God and nurturing your heart through faith, read: She Evolves in Love: Turning Your Heart Back to God.

God Did Not Stop Writing Your Destiny When You Gave Birth

Some mothers often wonder if they still have purpose beyond raising their children. They ask themselves, “Is this all I was made for?” or “Have I lost myself in the process of caring for everyone else?”

Hear me clearly: yes, you are a mother. But you are also a woman with a divine assignment.

God did not stop writing your story when you gave birth. He did not pause your destiny because life became busy. Inside you is a fire that God himself lit and a dream that refuses to die. A giant longing to wake up. Therefore, Mother, it is time for you to rise.

Confidence Is The Doorway

There are dreams inside you that did not die; they simply waited for the right season. Motherhood may have slowed you down, but it did not stop God’s plans.

Philippians 4:13 reminds us, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” As such, true confidence is simply believing what God has already said about you by saying “yes” to the dreams God has put in your heart.

Hence, a perfect support system is not needed, nor is everyone’s approval, to make you feel completely ready. All you need is God, and he is already with you.

Unbury Your Dream

Mother, there is something living inside you that is waiting to be born. It may be a vision, dream, ministry, book, business, or a gift. Oftentimes, you feel it during quiet moments, when the house settles and your heart begins to speak.

You feel it when you see other women stepping into their purpose, and something inside you hints, “Me too.” Now I urge you not to silence what God has placed within you. Do not ignore it because life is overwhelming.

In addition, do not bury your dreams under responsibility. The Bible says, “God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise” (1 Corinthians 1:27). Meaning that the idea you think is too small or too simple may be the exact thing God wants to use for His glory.

The Women Who Rose: Mothers in the Bible Who Found Their Strength

To encourage your heart, I want us to reflect on some mothers in the Bible who rose beyond motherhood and stepped boldly into purpose.

Hannah, for instance, was a mother, yes, but before that she was a woman who cried bitter tears. She prayed until her voice trembled, and God heard her. Hannah’s story reminds you that your tears are never wasted and that God sees the desires of your heart.

Mary, another mother, was a young girl when God entrusted her with destiny. She did not feel qualified or prepared, but she said, “Be it unto me.” Her story teaches you that you don’t need perfection, just willingness.

What about Jochebed, the mother of Moses, who acted with courage when she placed her baby in a basket and trusted God with what she could not control. Jochebed’s bravery raised a deliverer. Her story reminds you that your courage today impacts generations to come.

Rising Again Is Not Selfish

Mother, hear this with love: choosing yourself is not selfish.

It is time for you to rise. You have spent years giving, sacrificing, carrying, and nurturing. But now heaven says, “Daughter, rise.” Rise with confidence, faith, and grace. Rise knowing that God goes before you.

Do not let exhaustion make you forget the crown God placed on your head. Also, do not allow fear to silence your calling. You are a nurturer, a warrior, a vessel of strength, and a woman of purpose. Take time to rest, for when you rest, your spirit resets.

Your Rising Begins Today

Here is your final reminder, my queen: motherhood shaped you, but it is not all of you. There is more life and joy waiting for you.

So rise, woman. Rise, Mother. Rise, daughter of the King. Heaven sees you. Heaven celebrates you, and heaven knows the best version of you is still unfolding.

If this message spoke to your heart, do not keep it to yourself.

‘The best version of you is still unfolding.’ I resonated deeply with this statement. I’m not yet a mother, but your words are preparing me for what’s to come, by the grace of God. They also serve as a reminder to hold on to my ambitions, dreams, and visions, and to keep working toward them even amidst the beauty and turbulence of motherhood. Thank you for your positivity and realism.
